Into deep dreams?

Ever thought what it would feel like to penetrate the dark depths? How to get a job done down there? Climb into a small steel ball, a Diving Bell, and let yourself be slowly lowered into a rough sea? And how to stay alive to tell about it?
Then you've come to the right place. For now, you can join an exciting and interesting time travel back to 1972 and follow how a young Swede, trained at Commercial Diving Center in USA, got the North Sea oil fields as his workplace: The Workplace of his Dreams.

Exciting books have been written about North Sea diving. This book was written by a North Sea diver.
Here, the author talks about a working environment that is completely unknown to most people.
The stories are based on his encounters, experiences and observations as a diver in the Norwegian oil industry in the 70s.

Out on Ekofisk on the Jack-Up Rig Gulftide, the Derrick Barge Choctaw I, supply boat Imkenturm and onboard the semi-submersible oil rigs Deepsea Saga. Participation in the final construction of the concrete platforms Cormorant Alpha and Brent Charlie. Just to mention a few workplaces.

Experiences of deep and long dives, hurricanes with monster waves, burning gas explosions on board, meetings with many of the pioneers who made oil extraction possible and about a special camaraderie. "Reality Literature" is a fitting title for this richly illustrated book, where fiction and reality meet.
