Jonas Lindkvist is driven by a lifelong curiosity about how complex systems work and how their underlying mechanisms shape the world around us. That curiosity led him to study in the United States, earn an engineering degree, and build a career in technology and industry.

Alongside his technical career, economics, history, and human behavior have remained enduring interests. For many years, Jonas has sought to understand how economic systems, group dynamics, and geopolitics interact—not as isolated phenomena, but as deeply interconnected forces that shape the development of societies at both the local and global levels.

Since 2018, he has devoted thousands of hours to in-depth study of these subjects. By combining an engineer’s analytical mindset with a multidisciplinary approach, he has developed a holistic understanding of the interplay between monetary systems, political decision-making, and human incentives.

The result is his debut book, Sound Money or Broken Empire—an exploration of how economic structures, geopolitics, and human behavior together shape the greatest challenges of our time and the opportunities that lie ahead.
