You've seen a lot from the perspective of the heros. But here you focus on Lucien Nightcrow, a young man that has spent his life killing and training. One day he saves Jaine, a seven year old girl from Clayton. He trains her up to become the best assassin in Layden.
But when Lucien finds the body of a young man everything changes as he goes to inform the family together with Jaine.
Secrets comes out and the past comes back to haunt forcing Lucien to end it all.
