Folklore Beings of Sweden takes readers on an illustrated journey through the folklore of Sweden and its twenty-five provinces.

Meet forest spirits, trolls, vittra, water spirits and the watchful farm tomte. Discover retold legends about the mysterious beings that once helped people explain the wonders and dangers of nature.

Swedish author and artist Linda Abrahamsson combines these stories with her own paintings, inspired by her love of folklore and her roots in Varmland. The book also pays tribute to folklorist Ebbe Schon and the stories passed down through generations.

A book for anyone drawn to Swedish legends, enchanted forests and the mysteries of the natural world.
